Railroad Protective
Administered through our program administrator partner, Balanced Partners, LLC, Fair American Insurance and Reinsurance Company (FAIRCO) provides Railroad Protective Liability RPL Insurance to satisfy the contractual requirements of third parties performing work on, for, or near railroad property.
- Admitted paper
- Occurrence based coverage form, with defense outside of the limits
- Limits: $2,000,000 per occurrence/ $6,000,000 Aggregate or $5,000,000 / $10,000,000 Aggregate
- Minimum Premium $2,000 and $3,000, respectively
- Maximum policy period duration: 5 years
- Policy extensions may be granted as long as scope of work, project location and construction value are re-evaluated, and the risk still qualifies as an accepted risk
